What means MD5?

MD5 is a widely used algorithm to calculate a fingerprint of any data. The MD5 is displayed as a 32 characters long string (characters '0'-'9' and 'a'-'f'). A change of just one bit of the fingerprinted data will result in a completely different MD5 value.

With this tool you can calculate the MD5 value of files up to a size of 395KB online.
